Mercury rises with clear weather in Himachal


The Mercury registers sudden rise in the State with clear weather and the sunshine as the maximum temperature shows 3-4 degrees increase today.

Una along bordering Punjab was recorded warmest place in the State at 35. 4 degree Celsius, Sundernagar in Mandi 32.7 degrees, Nahan in Sirmaur 30.5 degrees, Solan and Bhunter in Kullu 29 degrees each, Dharamshala 26.2 degrees, Shimla 23.3 degrees and Kalpa 16.2 degrees.

Met office forecasts rain and thundershowers at isolated places in the mid and high reaches and mainly dry in the foothills during next 24 hours.
