News items to appoint Deputy CM is planted: Virbhadra Singh

    The Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Virbhadra Singh today said that there is no proposal to appoint Deputy Chief Minister in his government moreover news items appeared in vernacular seems to be misleading and planted.

    As the question hours was to began this morning, BJP senior Leader Mr. Rikhi Ram Kandaul said that a news item appeared in the vernacular today said that in order to sort out the present crisis in the incumbent Government Deputy Chief Minister could be appointed after inducting and reshuffling few ministers.

    The Speaker intervening on the issue said in the House that matter is irrelevant and could not be allowed to be raised in the House. Replying to the alleged news item Mr. Singh said that there is no iota of truth in the news items and it seems to be misleading and planted. He said that there is no such move by the present government to appoint Deputy Chief Minister.

    Congress convened at an extended committee meeting of party leader presided by the AICC general secretary Ms. Ambika Soni on April 2, 2016 which had resolved to face the move of toppling down of Congress rule in Himachal Pradesh after centre imposed president’s rule at Arunachal Pradesh and Uttrakhand.
