Keylong region in Lahaul Spiti district experienced 3 centimetre snowfall and the down streams were lashed by the thunder showers. However the Mercury kept 2-3 degrees high above the normal in the State.
Met office said that it had recorded 3 centimetre fresh snowfall at Keylong and its higher reaches got light to moderate spell of snowfall on Lady of Keylong, Seven Sister hills, Goshal hill, 13050 ft high Rohtang Pass and Kunzum pass.
Bhuntar in Kullu got 14 mm rainfall, Hansa 12 mm, Bajura 10 mm, Seabagh 7 mm, Kalpa in Kinnaur 6 mm, Jubbal in Shimla 5 mm, tourist resort Manali 4 mm and Kotkhai in Shimla 3 mm respectively.
Keylong in Lahaul Spiti district was low at -1.5 degrees, Kalpa in Kinnaur 1 degree, Manali 2.8 degrees, Dalhousie 6.9 degrees, Bhunter 7 degrees, Mandi 11.2 degrees, Dharamshala and Hamirpur 12 degrees each, Una 13.5 degrees and Nahan 15.7 degrees.
The Met office forecasts mainly dry weather in the next 24 hours in the State.
