The Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister who was facing the probe by CBI, ED and Income Tax started garnering the support of party ranks and files in the hour of testing time as crisis looms high with attachment of Rs 7.93 Crore property at Delhi on Mar 23.
Throwing their political weight behind Mr. Singh Party various top functionaries today issued a statement stating that Mr. Singh is innocent and action by the central agencies are mere handy work of Central BJP rule.
The former Parliamentarian Chander Kumar, Congress former minister Mr. Gangu Ram Musafir, Ram Lal Thakur, Rangila Ram Rao, Harsh Mahajan and legislator Kuldeep Kumar strongly denounced the action of the ED to attach the properties of Chief Minister.
They alleged when matter was pending before investigation agencies and in the Courts and Appellate Authorities the action of ED was totally uncalled and taken in haste.
Charging Mr. Nerendra Kumar Modi rule at Center to politically interference in functioning of the investigating agencies they said that it was no secret that ever since new government come in power at Centre Mr. Singh was being levelled with the charges to unleash political agenda.
