After visiting the glacial lake Manimahesh last night, seven persons came under the spate of the avalanche when they were returning back in Bharmour area of Chamba district police sources confirmed.
Police sources said that five persons who somehow returned safe from the mishap raised the alarm of trapping of two of them who may fear being killed under the avalanche.
They were returning from the Manimahesh area when a glacier hit them in between Dhancho and Sandrasi on the way.
They two of them were buried while five another reaches safely and informed police at Bharmour about 30 kilometres from the incident place.
The rescue teams have been sent to the place to search their bodies. Both of them are from Banikhet area in the district.
