Met Office forecasts rain and snowfall in next 3 days as Western Disturbances from the Caspian sea are heading to the north west Himalayan ranges to be active from tomorrow onwards.

Met office said today that rain and snowfall would occur at many places in the State on Feb 11 and rain and snowfall at few places on Feb 10 and 12 in the foot hills.

Meanwhile, the minimum and maximum temperatures increased 1-2 degrees and 4-5 degrees in last 24 hours respectively as Keylong in Lahaul Spiti was coldest with -4 degrees, Kalpa and Manali recorded  -3 and 2 degrees each.

Bhunter in Kullu was low at 3 degrees, Sundernagar in Mandi 3.6 degrees, Solan 3.8 degrees, Shimla 4.3 degrees, Palampur 4.5 degrees, Chamba and Dalhousie 4.8 degrees each, Bilaspur 5 degrees, Dharamshala and Hamirpur 6 degrees each, Mandi 6.7 degrees and Nahan 9 degrees.
