Tightening noose against mushrooming up of narcotics, contraband and illicit drugs peddlers in the Shimla district 3 persons were arrested by police, the Senior officer of police confirmed today.
SP Shimla Mr. D.W. Negi said that an ND&PS case has been registered at Police station Dhalli today booking a man under section 22-61-85 ND&PS.
Accused Shageer Ali (29 years) resident of House No. 3, Gurudwara Road, Chhota Masjid, Sanjauli Shimla, was nabbed last night at 22:45 hours during the police patrolling near SPM School Ground. During search 15 bottles of Corex Cough Syrup, 100ml each (restricted medicine) recovered from his possession.
An ND&PS case has been registered at Police Station Dhalli today under section 22-61-85 ND&PS when police staff nabbed a person namely Vineet Negi of Om Niwas, Dhingu Mata Mandir Road, Sanjauli, Shimla during the patrolling at 23:45 hours last night near the road leading towards Dhingu Mata Mandir. Police recovered about 51 tablets of Nitrosun-10 recovered from his possession.
An ND&PS case has been registered at Police Station Kotkhai yesterday as during Patrolling and Traffic checking at Gumma Hill at about 19:05 hours one person named Rajinder of Village Kayar PO Bujjal Tehsil Rajgarh Distt. Sirmour was intercepted by police & 722 gm Charas was recovered from his possession.
