Himachal Pradesh Income Tax unit levied Rs 900 Crore revenue during the current financial year and it would soon achieve given target during the remaining months of this year.
This was stated by Principal Income Tax Commissioner Mr.H.C. Negi who was interacting with the Departmental Officers and employees after unfurling of the National Tricolour at Income Tax Bhavan at Vikasnagar this morning.
Mr. Negi said that the unit;had been given the target of Rs 1300 Cr. which would be achieved soon as the Department has already collected revenue of Rs 900 Crore and officers would easily achieve the rest in upcoming 2 months. He said that Income Tax Department is helping the nation after collection of revenue for the welfare of people which is being used in the development and well-being of the people incurring the establishment cost.
He expressed gratitude for national forefathers for making this largest democracy in the world after sacrificing their life for the cause.
