5 persons including a women nabbed with illicit Charas & Heroin

Including a woman, 5 people were arrested by District Police Mandi in separate raids against NDPS peddlers during the last 24 hours, crime report issued confirmed.

A case was registered under section 20 of NDPS Act in Police Station Aut today as during patrolling at Jhalogi, police recovered 1 kilogram of Charas from the possession of Ms. Anita resident of Jhaklibehar of Distt. Kangra and driver Ravi Kumar resident of Tharu of Distt. Kangra. Both the accused have been arrested and further investigation is being carried out.

Another case was lodged under section 20 of NDPS Act today as on patrolling at Jhalogi, the police recovered 260 Gram Charas from the possession of Mandeep Singh aged 35 years old resident of House No. 5C/81 New Rohtak road Karol Bagh (Delhi).  The accused has been arrested and further investigation is being carried out under Police Station Aut.

The third case was registered under section 20 of NDPS Act during police nakka at Pulgharat last night recovering 300 Gram Charas from the possession of  Sonu Kumar (22 years). The accused was identified as the resident of House No. 10-A Gali No. 14 Vipin Garden Extention Uttam Nagar West Delhi.

The fourth case was registered under section 21 of NDPS Act yesterday at Police Station OP Sadar when during patrolling at Tibetan Market at Mandi police recovered 48 Gram Heroin from the possession of Rahul Sharma resident of Chalahar of district Mandi.
