Himachal Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Mr. Narender Chauhan today said that National Voters Festival was organized by Election Commission of India at Central Park, Connaught Place New Delhi on 14-17 January 2016.
He said that all the States of the Country participated in this event and added that voter awareness campaign and a showcase of election procedures were exhibited by various States.
He said that a stall was put up by the Himachal Pradesh Officers in which thorough representation of pictures and models showcased the peaceful and successful election conducted in Himachal Pradesh despite its tough terrain.
He said that State icon Himachali singer Shri Vickey Chauhan performed on 16th and 17th January which was appreciated widely.
