Two people booked for NDPS in Shimla

Two persons were booked after seizing contraband narcotics substance from their possession in Shimla district, police sources said today.

A case has been registered at police station Rampur last night under section 18, 29-61-85 ND&PS Act. The 2 persons namely Goverdhan(31) resident of village Muhan, District Kullu and Vicky (24) resident of village Mathvi, District Kullu. During search 500-gram Opium was recovered from their possession. The case is being investigated.

Another case has been registered at Police Station Kumarsain today under sections 20-61-85 of ND&PS Act. When yesterday during patrolling the police intercepted Het Ram (44) resident of village Kimcha, District Kullu and recovered 2.600 kilograms Charas from his Possession. The case is being investigated.

The trio are sent behind the bar and will be produced before Court shortly, officials said.
