The severe cold waves continue in Himachal however, mercury slightly went up during the last 24 hours. The weather was mainly dry and pleasant during the day with bright sunshine.
Mercury today slightly increased as Keylong recorded coldest with -10. 3 degree Celsius, Tourist resort Manali was low at -3.6 degrees, Kalpa in Kinnaur -1.8 degrees, Seobagh and Bhunter in Kullu at -1.6 degrees and 0.6 degrees respectively.
Solan was low at -0.8 degrees, Sundernagar 0.3 degrees, Shimla and Kangra at 1.7 degrees each. Una was low at 3.7 degrees, Nahan at 4.7 degrees and Dharamshala at 5.2 degrees respectively.
With mainly dry weather conditions and the sunshine the day temperature likely rises by 1-2 degrees today giving respite from shivering cold weather.
Met office forecasts that it would be mainly dry in State for the next 24 hours.
