Major crackdown on NDPS peddlers in Himachal, 4 nabs with 4 kilo 120 gram illicit Charas

Achieving a major breakthrough against Charas peddlers in Himachal state, 4 persons were nabbed in separate actions by the Shimla police seizing about 4 kilogram and 120 grams of illicit charas.

Superintendent of Police Shimla Mr. D.W. Negi said that a man fell in the trap of District Police Narcotics Sleuth near Wazir Bawdi near Rampur in the district when 1.8 Kg of Charas was recovered from his possession. The man was booked and arrested under police station Rampur is put to a thorough interrogation.

Early today the District Narcotics Sleuths also apprehended a 27-year-old Sher Singh resident of Kutwa village of Kullu district after recovering 1.6 kg of Charas from his possession. A case has been registered at police station Kumarsain and undergoing investigation.

Under police post Lakkar Bazar a 44-year-old accused Rajesh Sharma resident of Sharda Niwas of Shogi outskirt of Shimla town was nabbed with 720 grams Charas.
