Mercury plunges by 1-2 degree Celsius in Himachal

Compared to the weather during the day, the night hours are cold in the State as Mercury plunged by 1-2 degrees Celsius. However with bright sunshine in the state Mercury kept slightly higher to the normal.

Keylong, the headquarter of Lahaul-Spiti was coldest in the state as it recorded low at -8.3 degrees,
Kalpa in Kinnaur -3 degrees, Manali in Kullu -1.8 degrees, Seobagh 0.5 degrees, Bhunter in Kullu and Solan 0.8 degrees each, Sundernagar in Mandi 0.9 degrees.

The minimum temperature of Shimla was 2.4 degrees, Kangra 2.6 degrees, Una 3.8 degrees, Nahan 5 degrees and Dharamshala 6 degrees respectively.

The Met Office forecasts mainly dry weather in the next 24 hours.
