People took a little respite from the severe cold wave in the state as Mercury improvised marginally following the dry weather and sunshine during the day.
Shimla recorded low at 6.6 degrees increased by 3 degrees. Keylong, headquarter of tribal Lahaul-Spiti district was coldest with -9.3 degrees. Tourist resort Manali in Kullu district was low at -1.8, Seobagh 0.5 degrees and Kalpa in Kinnaur -0.4 degrees.
The minimum temperature of Bhunter in Kullu was recorded 1 degree and Sundernagar in Mandi and Solan 1.5 degrees each. Una was low at 3.2 degrees, Kangra 4.2 degrees, Dharamshala 5.8 degrees and Nahan in Sirmaur 7.9 degrees.
The Met Office forecast mainly dry weather in next 24 hours.
