A major snag in the power cable at Rani Jhansi park today disrupted the power supply at Naz, Bridgeview, Lift and Combermere parts of Shimla town.
The managing director of Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Mr. P.C. Negi told that power supply was resumed in the evening. Meanwhile commercial establishments, Lift, support complex, Combermere post office and near by hotels like Combermere and Bridge view came to stand stills.
Mr. Ravail Singh told that the town was packed with tourists on weekend however, disruption of power supply affected their business. The various outlets of coffee and tea suffered due to the disrupted power supply. It also disrupted the number of media work offices in the area.
