Tourists resorts Manali, Narkanda and Kufri experience fresh snowfall 


Tourist resorts of Himachal Pradesh today experienced fresh snowfall and sleet dipping down the mercury drastically following prevalence of the western disturbances in the region.

Tourist resort Kufri recorded 3-4 centimetre fresh snowfall this afternoon. Fagu and Narkanda had about 2-3 centimetre snowfall. Tourist resort Manali got 2-centimetre snowfall and 10-millimetre rainfall, Kalpa recorded 3.4 cm snowfall.

Rainfall recorded at Seobagh 10 mm, Kullu 7mm, Sundernagar 4 mm, Bijora in Kullu 3 mm and Dharamshala 3 mm respectively.

Keylong was coldest in the State at – 5.3 degrees, Kalpa in Kinnaur -1.4 degrees, Manali and Dalhousie 1 degree each, Shimla 3 degrees and Solan 5 degree, Dharamshala 6.4 degrees, Sundernagar 6.5 degrees, Ponta Sahib 6 degrees, Hamirpur 6.9 degrees, Mandi and Bilaspur 7 degrees each.

The Met office forecasts mainly dry weather in next 24 hours.
