Himachal Pradesh police nabbed 2 persons while they were smuggling 46 logs of Deodar timbers under Kupvi police station in Shimla district yesterday.
The accused were booked under section 379 of IPC and 41 and 42 of Indian Forest Act. They were nabbed during Naka at Sainj Khad when they intercepted a vehicle and recovered 46 logs of deodar wood from their possession.
The accused nabbed are driver Sanjay Singh and Gumaan Singh, both belong to Shilai village of Sirmour district. The vehicle has been compounded by the police while accused have been arrested. The case is under investigation.
