Mercury further plunged in the state as Keylong shivered at -5.2 degrees. Foggy weather during wee hours affected vehicular traffic along the river banks and in foothills however bright sunshine in rest of state gave respite from cold weather in the day after three days of inclement weather followed by rain and snowfall in many part of state.
Tourist resort Manali in Kullu district was low at -3.6 degrees, Kalpa in Kinnuar -2.4 degrees, Seobagh in Kullu -1.5 degrees, Una 0.8 degrees, Bhunter in Kullu 1 degree, Shimla 2 degrees, Solan and Kangra 3.7 degrees, Sundernager in Mandi 5 degrees, Dharmshala and Mandi 6.8 degrees and Nahan in Sirmuar 7.5 degrees respectively.
Met Office has forecasted mainly dry weather in next 24 hrs however it may be partly cloudy as feeble western disturbances prevail in the state.
