4 people nabbed in Kullu with contraband drugs

4 persons were nabbed with huge catch of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substance in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh in last 24 hours.

Police Superintendent of Kullu Mr. Padam Chand said that last night a case was registered under NDPS Act. During patrolling at Samsher, police recovered 2.170 kilograms cannabis from the possession of Dila Ram resident of Sajwad Tehsil Banjar.

Another case of NDPS Act was registered in police station Bhunter  when during patrolling near Shiv mandir at Bhunter, 2 grams Heroine seized from the possession of Amardeep Singh resident of Hirasingh nagar, Faridkot Punjab.

Third case was registered in police station Bhunter during patrolling near Chutti Bihali, recovering 492 gms Cannabis from the possession of Jalam Singh resident of Piyun, Tehsil Aut of District Mandi.

Fourth case was registered in police station Kullu, when in a ‘nakabandi’ at Chil Mour, 700 grams Cannabis was seized from the possession of Khub Ram resident of Mandi. In all the cases accused have been arrested and were produced in the court today. Further investigations of the cases are in progress.
