Opposition BJP would hold rally at Jarawer stadium near Assembly Complex here tomorrow against Congress government in Himachal Pradesh after registering of case by Central Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement Directorate against chief minister Sh. Virbhadra Singh on the alleged charges of amassing disproportionate assets and money laundering.
Interacting with the media persons at assembly complex here today, leader of Opposition Sh. Prem Kumar Dhumal said that it will organise the rally despite the state governments pressure not to allow holding of public rally near Assembly Complex at Jarawer Statium tomorrow on Dec 2, 2015. He said that rally named as Virbhadra Hatao, Pradesh Bachao was organised to highlight corruption charges against the chief minister seeking his ouster after he was booked by CBI and ED recently.
Earlier speaking to media person Chief minister Virbhadra Singh denied allegations that his government cancelled the permission granted for BJP to hold rally at Jarawer stadium near Assembly complex.
Sh. Virbhadra Singh said that administration would be directed to revoke permission to BJP. However the venue would not be utilised for organising any public protest in the future as loudspeakers voice disrupt assembly proceedings.
Sh. Dhumal raising the matter in the assembly today alleged that permission was cancelled under the pressure of government however venue has been frequently used for similar rally in the past. BJP leader alleged that Congress government failed on each front trying to evade the discussion in the house. ”
We have tried to raise the issue of developments concerned to common man but Congress was trying not to face them, taking excuse of various assembly rules during the session”.
He alleged that treasury benches were not serious on the matter of public interest when they were being raised by their members in the assembly as they did not allow them to raise them during the proceeding in the house.
Sh. Dhumal also charged the chair that mike system were not switched on immediately when opposition member get stand on their seat to speak contrary to other side house who are being allowed to speak at once.
Public from the proposed Panchyats to be merged with Dhraramshala Municipal Corporation , would like to know from Government of Himachal Pradesh the following :
1) How many Panchyat,s Gram Sabhas have given ” NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE ” to join Dharamshala MC ?
2) As per Sh. Sudhir Sharma, the honourable Minister for Urban Development and Town /Country Planning, the Population of Dharamshala MC is more then 50000,
Does that mean , it was already decided to merge all the nearby Panchyats in to Dharamshala MC much earlier then the actual declaration of extending this MC beyond its existing boundaries ?
3) When was the HP Government Cabinet Approval accorded to make Dharamshala as Municipal Corporation ?
4) What is being planned for these proposed to be added Panchyats in next five years , year wise and what is the Master Plan.
5) It is alleged that the area where Honourable Urban Development Minister,s house is under construction, has been kept out of the proposed extended boundaries of Dharamshala M C. Why such a decision has been taken ???
