8 people died in a car accident near Dabara in Mandi district last night, as shared by Mandi police. The incident occurred when the Innova car in which they were travelling, fell in the river near Aut in the district, about 200 km from Shimla.
Seven were still to be fished out in the turbulent river as one body of woman has been recovered, moreover a person has been rescued. Rescue teams are fishing out missing persons.
The occupants were on their way from Chamba to Kullu-Manali, police said, adding more details are awaited.
