Police recovered a huge consignment of illicit liquor possession from a person at Jubbal in Shimla, when they intercepted a vehicle carrying it.
SP Shimla, D. W. Negi said that FIR has been registered under section 62/15 of Excise act as ASI Raj Kumar and his team nabbed a person on Tuesday night during traffic checking near Pangla(Kuddu).
They recovered 25 boxes of various English liquor ( Royal stag 05 boxes, Green label 05 boxes, Royal challenge 05 boxes and thunderbolt beer 10 boxes) from the possession of one person named Yashpal of Dehradun, Uttrakhand.
The accused has been arrested.
