Himachal Pradesh High Court, taking ‘suo-moto’ cognizance of the trapping of three laborers inside Bilaspur tunnel, has directed the centre, state and Himalayan Construction Company to file a status report by Friday.
A Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir and Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan passed these orders on a petition taken up by the court following a news report.
The court has expressed concern over the incident and sought a response from DC, Bilaspur, and the Border Roads Organisation.
