Three workers who belonged to a private contractor got trapped inside under construction of four-lane road tunnel at Kandror in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh last night.
Official sources have confirmed that the workers were digging the tunnel when a massive landslide trapped them inside at 2300 hours last night. Number of marooned in the tunnel could be more than a dozen as most of workers deployed by the contractor are reported to be unregistered labor.
However the rescue and relief team was rushed to the spot and more details are awaited.
