Himachal speaker says no to ‘no work-no pay ‘ in assembly



Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Mr. Brij Behari Lal Butail today said that there is no plan to implement no work-no pay for the members of assembly during their boycott of business.

Mr. Butail who belongs to Palampur said that there is no such proposal in front of him so far. He informed that the state assembly in monsoon session is scheduled to begin from 21st August in Shimla and which has already received about 500 questions to be raised in the house. He said that most of these questions pertain to bad road conditions and rain losses.

Mr. Butail said that there is no plan to begin zero hours in the house to avoid disruptions and with that a separate section is to be developed in the assembly to accommodate electronic media persons.
