Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board has recently added HDFC bank for online payment gateway facility with zero transaction charges. Earlier HPSEB supported ICICI and PAYUMONEY for e-payment gateway facility and the bank charged Rupees 3.70 plus taxes for net banking and Rupees 0.90% of transaction value plus taxes each for using Debit Card and Credit Card as the form of your payment.
E-payment gateway is the quickest and hassle free way to pay your outstanding electricity bills as it really saves on time and you can now do away with writing cheques, standing in long queues and avoid stepping out of your house and office for making payments.
Sugam Kendra is yet another common service center and an initiative of Himachal Pradesh Government for customers who don’t want to make the bill payments through bank. This quick pay facility can be used by getting yourself registered with the official website of HPSEB and over 126 subdivisions have already been covered under Sugam Kendra and the remaining are in the process and would be covered soon through an online computerized mode.
