On 6th July 2015 NGT asked the state government to ban all kinds of tourism activity to Rohtang pass meanwhile the transit bench held here yesterday asked the state government to comply with NGT directions failing to which officers have to face the court contempt.

Mr. Bali also said that HRTC would increase fleet of CNG buses and also look into this aspect to set up CNG filling station at Manali as per the orders of green tribunal passed earlier. And so far the state administration has allowed 1000 vehicles to Rohtang limiting the tourist flow and footfall on the snow pass.
