Una sizzles at 42 degree Celsius, recorded season highest

The Maximum temperature remained seasons high today in the entire state as Una town sizzled at 42 degree Celsius and recorded seasons highest.

The metrological office sources said that Una recorded Maximum at 42 degrees today as before this it had recorded 41.8 degree.

Similarly mercury kept high in other towns of this hill state. Kangra was high at 37.9 degrees, Sundernagar in Mandi was at 37.3 degrees, Nahan 36.3 degrees, Bhunter 35.2 degrees, Solan 33.6 degrees, Dharmshala 31.8 degrees, Shimla 28.1 degrees and Kalpa in Kinnuar 24 degrees respectively.

The metrological office has forecast that rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in next 24 hrs in the mid hills and high reaches.It would be mainly dry in the plains and no are no signs of respite from sweltering heat wave.
