Maximum temperature touches 40 degree Celsius in Una

Maximum temperature of Una went up to 40 degree Celsius today for first time in this summer season.

Una recorded warmest at 40 degrees  in the state today. It stayed near 35.8 degrees in Sundernagar of Mandi district and 33.6 degrees in Bhunter in Kullu.

Abode of Tibetan Spiritual leader Dharmshala was high at 30.6 degrees, while Kalpa in Kinnuar was 22.8 degrees, respectively. Nahan in Sirmaur district was high at 33.2 degrees, Solan 32 degrees, Kangra 35.7 degrees.

The metrological office has forecast rain and thunder showers in isolated parts of mid and high reaches in next 24 hrs however it would be mainly dry in rest of the state.
