Shimla: Satayavati Parmar, wife of first Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Dr YS Parmar, passed away on Tuesday night at IGMC here. She was suffering from prolonged illness. Mrs Parmar was ninety years old. She was also Rajya Sabha member in the early seventies and state Congress president of Himachal Pradesh. Congress leader Vidya Stokes, Kissan Sabha state president Kuldeep Tanwar, who are related to her, were among those who rushed to the aggrieved family’s residence soon after hearing about the death.
Oh. This is bad news. Satayavati Parmar was prominent among few renown figure among woman folk belong to Himachal. With demise of Mrs. Parmar state lost prominent personality. May bestow peace to departed soul.
