Chamba: Six persons were booked under Gambling Act while they were allegedly gambling at Kuslog area in Dalhousie, police said here on Tuesday. Sunil Khanna, Pardeep, Brij Lal, Vijay, Anil Kumar and Brij Lal were playing cards and currency notes worth Rs 23,430 were recovered from the spot. The district police also seized 5,000 ml illicit liquor during raid at a shop under police Station Khari. The owner of shop, Prakesh Bahadur, was arrested with the consignment after registering a case under various sections of Excise Act.
