Hamirpur: The annual cultural and sports festival of Hamirpur district, Hamir Utsav, started today with much fanfare. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal was the chief guest at the opening ceremony while Education Minister ID Dhiman too accompanied him. Dhumal offered puja at the local Shiva temple and sought blessings for the wellbeing of the people of the state in general and those of Hamirpur district in particular.
