Opposition party today rebutted Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson by alleging that he has made an attempt to twist facts about the assault on its state headquarters by the activists of Youth Congress on January 29.
Giving sharp reactions over the alleged incident BJP spokesman Ganesh Dutt alleged in a statement that was issued here today that “Youth Congress activists came in large number and were led by Vikramaditya Singh, the Chief Minister’s son who is also the president of youth front and they tried to break the party office and also left many party workers injured after brutally throwing stones at them. Instead of exerting its pressure to end the jungle raj (law of forest) the ruling party tried to mislead people to divide their opinion on this issue after twisting the facts. Incidents like these would only damage the rapport of Congress party among the masses as the party is already facing many crises”.
BJP spokespersons has also said that Youth Congress activists including Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of several boards and corporations attacked BJP workers with stones and broken bottles. They not only broke the windowpanes but also split the main door of the office. All those people have now been booked for trespassing and damaging BJP property.
People in the state are not happy with this episode of the Congress leaders and the opposition party says that it is likely to spoil the image of Congress party as number of party workers have now been booked and political cases have been registered against them after this incident.
