Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today said the state had been receiving adequate financial assistance from the Centre irrespective of political considerations and other developments.
While presiding over a public meeting at Sairi he said “Narendra Modi should be respected by all irrespective of political affiliations. We must work to provide quality education to all girls so that they can in future help building a strong and educated society. Many crores are already being spent on roads, education and strengthening of health sector and many new hydel projects. He said the Congress government is already striving for equal development of all areas.
Responding to the demand for an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Sairi from local politicians, he directed officers of the Technical Education Department to inspect the accommodation and said if it fulfilled the standards, an ITI could become functional from the next year. He also announced the upgrade of CHC Kunihar to the Civil Hospital with 50-bed facility. He also announced science and commerce classes in Government Senior Secondary School, Sairi, from the next academic session.
