The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has appointed Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) honorary secretary Vishal Marwah as its observer for the fourth test match between India and England to be held at Old Trafford, beginning on August 7.

This is a first time when an official from Himachal has been assigned such a prestigious assignment.

“This has been possible for our small state due to the progress that the association has made under the dynamic and inspirational leadership of our president Mr. Anurag Thakur,” Mr. Marawaha said.

Mr. Marawaha also said that, “This would motivate all of us at the association to give our best in the times to come and make HPCA the best state unit in the country.”
