This land lock state remained cut of from national stream in field of professional education and lack of ample institutions would have its first Indian Institute of Management. This was announced by Finance Minister Arun Jaitely while presenting general budget for years 2014-15 in the parliament on Thursday.
State have one IIT at Mandi and Central University at Shahpur in Kangra district which would have its first IIM soon as Mr. Jaitely announced five more IIM in the budget speech.
The youth of this state were toiling hard to get best professional education and rarely found tough to crack the national level competition examination would now be in benefit from this IIM.
The state government yet have to decide place of this institute, which could be set up in district Sirmaur, Bilaspur, Kullu and Chamba as most of premier education institutions are already their in other district.
Last UPA government anounced first IIT at Mandi which is fully functional in the state, beside this state also have NIT at Hamirpur, Central University at Shahpur, NIFT at Kangra and three state level universities at Shimla, Solan and Palampur.

In Himachal Pradesh,
There are 13 Indian Institute of Management in
our country but There is no such Institute in our
HImachal Pradesh nor in Pujab and j & k.
Due to these reason ours students of poor family are
not able to get higher education in commerce study.
They are also not in a position to leave their family
outside HIMACHAL due to their poorness.
They want to grow and learn with higher education and also
want to improve ours economy by
contributing their talent.
They have also not any govt aided higher education in
HIMACHAL and near by himachal.
Their humble request to you is pls look in this matter and
arrange to open some higher and professional
education institute in ours HIMACHAL .
We are looking forward a great future in HIMACHAL with these
student and we need yours kind support on
the same.
