Security beefed up in Shimla town following increasing of crowd due to summer festival on the historic Ridge ground which started on Sunday.
Police sources said that number of police personnels have been deployed in uniform and in civilian dress to keep an eye on anti-social element.
This festival would last till 2200 hours under strict vigil as two anti-riot and ambulance van would be posted on the venue.
This place would remain highly crowded due to tourist rush during the peak tourist season.
