Heavy rain along with winds disrupt life in Himachal

Heavy rain accompanied with windstorm disrupted normal life in this hill state.

Dharamshala in Kangra district recorded 55 mm rain Kangra town 58 mm, Shimla 50 mm, Sundernager in Mandi district 17 mm, Bhuntar 13mm and Manali 4 mm.

Windstorm affected power supply and reduced visibility disrupted vehicular traffic. Rooftops also washed away in windstorm, report said.

Maximum temperature slightly declined as Una was warmest at 41 degrees Celsius, Nahan in Sirmaur district  36.4 degrees, Solan 30 degrees, Dharamshala 28 degrees, Sundernager 24 degrees, Shimla and Kangra 23 degrees each, Bhuntar 20 degrees and Manali 13.6 degrees.

The. Met. office forecast rain or thundershowers in next 24 hours.
