Solan: Youth Enlightening the Society (YES), a state-wide social organization, launched its Solan unit at Dr YS Parmar Horticulture University, Nauni, on April 2. The team of office bearers from Shimla kick-started the organization’s work at the campus to help fellow youths understand the needs and problems of students.
On this occasion a skit was also performed and the university students were told about the working of YES, its past activities and aims and objectives of the organization.
Drupad Katoch was appointed president of the Solan unit of YES, while Anil Thakur was appointed general secretary.
