Shimla: The Parwanoo police today arrested suspended senior IPS officer BS Thind here after they came to know that he was to attend a court proceeding in another case at Parwanoo. Thind was wanted in a 2004 bribery case as a Chandigarh-based businessman had alleged that the IPS officer demanded money from him for getting a property vacated.
He was suspended from the post of additional director general of police, HP State Human Rights Commission, after the CBI framed charges against him in a land transaction case in a Punjab court.
