Kisan Sabha commends the HP govenment decision to open degree college at Koti

Dr. Kuldip Singh Tanwar, President of Himachal Kisan Sabha has commended the HP government decision to open degree college at Koti in Kasumpti Assembly constituency. He thanked the government of Himachal Pradesh and Chief Minister for fulfilling the long lasting demand of the people.

He told that the opening of degree college at Koti is the victory of the people who fought for the cause for the last four years. He also thanked the political parties, panchayati raj representatives and the social organisations which raised the demand. With the opening of the college the students particularly the girl students will be benefited as the areas of Shimla and Sirmaur districts which will be covered under this college is mostly inhabited by the poor farmers and dalits.

Dr. Tanwar further told that the Zonal Committee of Himachal Kisan Sabha was fighting for this demand of the people for the last four years and had submitted Memorandums to present government and previous government of the state. He has also demanded that all arrangements should be made immediately so that classes may get started in the coming academic session 2014.
