Order of probe into burning of Gorton castle : CM

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has ordered thorough probe into burring of 110 years old heritage building Gorton castle in Shimla today.

Mr. Singh personally visited the fire spot twice today, he expressed his deep shock over this unfortunate incident ordering probe to find out the cause of fire and any possible criminal conduct behind this fire incident occurred at highly sensitive place and heavily watched and guarded premises early this morning.

“It is very painful and moment of emotion as this historic buildings was grandeur and relic of unique architect of Raj days,” Mr. Singh said giving his reaction over the mishap at the spot this morning. He also said that fire gutted two floor of this building.

He said that this burnt building would be renovated to its original style as early as possible and state government would provide all type of timber wood for its reconstruction. Mr. Singh was also accompanied by state assembly speaker Brij Behari Lal Butail and former Rajya Sabha member Viplav Thakur on the spot.
