BJP begins unique fund collection drive in HP


Opposition Bhartiaya Janata Party in Himachal Pradesh began unique fund collection drive and Lok Sabha election campaign named as ‘one note kamal ko vote’ (one note and vote for lotus), here today.

In a press release issued here today BJP spokesman Ganesh Dutt said that Lok Sabha member of Parliament Mr. Verinder Kashyap and local Member of Assembly Mr. Suresh Bhardwaj were prominent who took part in the campaign which begins at Mall road Shimla today.

Mr. Kashyap describe this move party’s election campaign to support its prime ministerial candidate Mr. Narinder Kumar Modi to vote him to power. BJP workers were distributing pamphlets and collecting funds in a box from the shopkeepers and people on the Mall road today.

MP said that party launched this campaign to asked the people of state to join February 16 party election rally to be held at Sujanpur in Hamirpur district to be addressed by Mr. Modi.

This is first time when party decided to collect funds in the public from its old traditional banking on the party collections from undisclosed donators and party worker.
