High reaches of Himachal Pradesh experienced snowfall while it was mainly dry in rest of the state. But otherwise the state was under grip of cold wave.
Dhauladhar ranges of Kangra and Chamba districts experience mild spell of snowfall. The Met. office recorded 0.4 cm snowfall in the state.
The grip of cold wave is further tighten as Keylong was coldest at minus 7 degrees Celsius followed by Kalpa minus 5 degrees and Manali minus 2 degrees.
Minimum temperature of Bhuntar in Kullu district, Sundernagar in Mandi district, Dalhousie, Solan, Hamirpur and Chamba were at 1 degrees each, Shimla 2 degrees,Kangra, Palampur and Una 3 degrees each, Nahan in Sirmaur district and Bilaspur 5 degrees each and Dharamshala in Kangra district 6 degrees respectively.
The Met. office forecast rain or snowfall in middle and high reaches and mainly dry weather in the foothills during next 24 hours.
