Terming BJP protest in Himachal Pradesh assembly provoked by unexpected victory of it in few states, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh stated that saffron party legislatures were in sudden jubilant mood in the house today.

“Despite many of them were feeling heat of probes initiated against them on the Congress charge-sheet, there was no reason expected to celebrate the party victory in few states in house as they lodged protest”, responding to the opposition protest in state assembly Mr. Singh observed.

They have habit of such behavior during the proceedings in the past but their action in the house was not dignified as it was against the ruling of chair, Mr. Singh added challenging BJP to face the upcoming parliamentary elections soon to evaluate its actual strength.

The house could not put aside the business listed for discussion in the house to discuss BJP agenda but this government was ready to debate each and every issue inside and outside the house.

Chief minister alleged that no one is afraid of opposition allegations as he is ready to give reply of each and every allegation, moreover, BJP is in habit of accusing him for political gains.

“During both terms of Prem Kumar Dhumal as Chief Minister, allegations had been leveled against me as I was booked in Sagar Katha case in first term and CD case in the second”, Mr. Singh said.

In reply to the opposition protest over fresh case of CBI against him, Mr. Singh said that earlier also he was probed by CBI on the behest of BJP but he came out clean. The government had not instituted any probe against Prashant Bhushan into converting of land use of tea estate in the state recently.

“Mr. Bhushan though does not belong to BJP but there is evidence against him in prima facie violation of rules into alleged land deals but the case would be lodged if anything substantially would be found in the probe”, Mr. Singh said in reply of another query.

It is worthwhile to mentioned here that Prashant Bhushan has moved to the Delhi high court seeking CBI probe against Chief Minister leveling graft allegation in which CBI have been given time to probe the matter till February 2013.

Opposition leader Prem Kumar Dhumal said while interacting with the media persons that it would not relent unless the speaker gives enough opportunity to members to debate over the matter raised under adjournment motion today.

The state of affairs in this hill state is out of order as PDS shops were running without food items, moreover, there is transfer trades on fake DO letters of Congress MLAs, leader of opposition charged.

Opposition leader Prem Kumar Dhumal said while interacting with the media person that it would not relent unless the speaker give enough opportunity to members to debate the matters raised under adjournment motion today.

It is mandate for Speaker to also give protection to the member of opposition to raise their issue according to norms of house but they have not given chance to debate the issues which are of urgent interest of people. Moreover, the seeking reply from the state government into the matter raised by the opposition was not just, Mr. Dhumal said.

Since Chief Minister was challenging opposition members in the public after threatening them, Mr. Dhumal said that Mr. Singh was also facing allegation and matter bring probed by CBI. Everybody including member of house have rights to seek reply from Mr. Singh but treasury bench was trying to grab the voice of opposition after not allowing the debate.
