Main opposition Bhartiya Janta Party today alleged that Congress party could change the leadership in the state as party has complete one year in the power.

Younger son of former chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, Mr. Arun Dhumal who was addressing media persons today took dig over the speculation of change of leadership inside the Congress alleging that it is now doubtful that six time chief minister Virbhadra Singh could complete one year term in the state government.

“State Congress rule remained fail to deliver on all front and there was only one department which remained active in the state, the State Vigilance and Anti-corruption Bureau which has nothing to do with common man”, Younger Dhumal who is a member of HPCA said, alleging that Mr. Singh regime remained busy to file and probe cases against his family members.

”In the political era there are number of speculations that state leadership could be changed. Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh had taken unsecured loan from independent power producers is shunning away to response to volleys of queries raised by opposition leaders time and again.” Mr. Arun Dhumal said.

Taking dig over the alleged move of changing guard in the state, he said that Vidya Stokes could be the next Chief Minister who was power minister in the last Mr. Singh rule and IPH minister now.

Mrs. Stokes had opposed 17 mw Sai Kothi M/s Venture Energy Technology limited New Delhi project hailed to Vakamulah Chander Shaikar which was restored despite it was cancelled as a moot issue, Mr. Dhumal observed.

He alleged that despite giving many crores of rupees in 2011 to chief minister and his family by Vakamulah Chander Shaikhar (who is key stakeholder of power project) why did he not disclosed it in his election affidavit in 2012 elections.

Seeking white paper over alleged project and pointing out finger on the working of last Mr. Singh rule, Mr. Dhumal said that after cancellation of this project in 2003 it was brought in cabinet meeting five times and was also reported by media.

Releasing a paper having nine queries to media BJP leader alleged that last Congress rule of Mr. Singh had given wrong facts about the project after stating in 2006 state economic survey report that it would be allotted to HPSEB.

He also claimed that Congress rule should have to answer such questions to public in forth coming assembly session at Dharamshala.

He added that if Mr. Singh and Congress rule in state would not come out clean on this issue or not respond soon they would have to face public wrath.
