Host, Kerala today defeated Himachal Pradesh by 61 runs as they started playing after 95 runs at 7 wickets of yesterday. It added up just 39 runs losing left out 3 wickets in short interval this morning in the third day of Ranji Trophy match played at Thalaserry stadium.
Kerala scored 214 runs in first innings and 155 runs in second and HP scored 174 and 134 runs respectively. HP played upto 39.2 overs as its entire team was back to pavilion. Vinoop S.M. of Kerala was most appreciated baller as he took 5 wickets and gave 43 runs. P.S. Chopra scored highest for HP, as he lost his wicket at 36 runs yesterday.
