Day temperature is likely to fall in HP


With partly cloudy weather, mercury slides down in Himachal Pradesh as Bharmour in Chamba district was coldest at minus 8.2 degrees Celsius.

Mercury also slides down in Lahaul and Spiti district as Keylong was at minus 5.5 degrees which was 3.8 degrees yesterday, Kalpa was recorded at minus 1.6 degrees and Manali minus 0.6 degrees and Bhuntar minus 1.8 degrees.

Sundernagar in Mandi district and Solan 2.2 degrees each, Hamirpur 3.6 degrees, Una 4.9 degrees, Palampur in Kangra district 5.2 degrees, Shimla and Kangra 6 degrees each, Dharamshala 7.4 degrees, Bilaspur 7.6 degrees and Nahan 8 degrees.

The western disturbance was in upper air system over north Himalayan region as weather was partly cloudy in this hill state.

Following cloudy weather, the day temperature is likely to fall today.

The Met office has forecast that it would be mainly dry in the state during next 24 hours.
