Himachal gets 23 runs lead in first innings of Ranji Trophy

The host Himachal Pradesh got 23 runs lead in the first innings of second day of Ranji Trophy as it scored 296 runs that of 273 of Hyderabad in four day long Ranji Trophy being played at HPCA International Stadium at Dharamshala today.

Starting at 12 runs of yesterday HP scored 296 runs after playing 73 overs. Mr. B.B. Sharma scored highest 91 runs for the host after playing 110 balls with 15 boundaries and one six followed by 47 runs of Mr. Rishi Dhawan, 45 of Mr. V.S. Malik and 43 of Mr. Sangram Singh. Mr. Alfred Absolem of Hyderabad took 4 wickets after giving 88 runs followed by Mr. P. Kaushik Naidu 3 wickets/68 run and Mr. R. Kiran 2 wickets and 54 runs respectively. Trailing with 23 runs of first innings Hyderabad score 40 runs at no loss in the second innings when Mr. T. Suman and Mr. P.D. Reddy were at the crease on 25 and 13 run respectively. Hyderabad was all out at 237 in the first innings in four days Ranji Trophy matches being played here.
